Children with Medical Conditions: Prior to a child starting the Centre contacts the local Public Health Nurse to write up an Individual Health Plan with the child’s parents. The plans are kept in a prominent place for teachers and all adults working with the child to be aware of and to follow.
Gifted and Talented Children: In-depth experiences/projects are provided to extend the child’s learning. And as for all children, the staff stress the importance of supporting their development of confidence, positive social skills and communication skills.
Children with Special Learning Needs: If a child with special learning needs has not already been referred, following consultation with the parents we make a referral to an appropriate agency. Staff focus on giving children learning experience and helping them to develop confidence, positive social skills and communication skills.
Staff Gender: All staff are women.
