This is the first opportunity of its kind for people who supervise, run, own, manage, and lead early childhood services to get together, network, talk and get access to information that other managers don't have. 

It is equally relevant for home and centre-based service operators, and private, public, and community early childhood services.

Places are limited and will be accepted in order of date of registration completed. So get your name on the list of attendees by registering now.

11.00am Karl Le Quesne (national office Group Manager of ECE, Ministry of Education):  "Early Childhood Policy and Funding Update"

12.30pm Lunch

1.15pm   Bevin Fitzsimons (Director, Breakthrough Strategies) "Financial Management, Being Audit-Ready, and How to Reduce the Risk of Fraud"

2.30pm   Jenny Thomas (Manager Registration) and Linda Gendall (Manager Teacher Practice, NZ Teachers' Council)  Teacher Registration Requirements and Reporting of Misconduct: What EC Service Managers Need to Know. 

3.15pm   Discussion on information gaps and topics for our next Management Forum over tea & coffee.

PLEASE NOTE:

1. Non-Member Fee: This event is advertised at the discounted ChildForum member rate of $98 per person. Non members will be charged an additional $20 per person.

2. Payment is Required Before the Event: Payment can be made via Internet Banking, Cheque or Credit Card.

To be held in the Lecture Theatre, Royal Society of Health, Science House, 1st Floor of 11 Turnbull Street, Thorndon, Wellington city. There is limited street parking and a Wilson Car park nearby. Please note that there is no lift.
