An appealing job description will attract the best candidates for the job you are advertising and will ensure you have a range of different applicants to choose from. Conversely, a poorly written job description may deter potential candidates for the role.
It is also an important reference document to ensure the employee knows and is meeting required duties and expectations. The job description should be referred to when undertaking the annual review of the employee’s job performance.
