Good supervision is key to providing a circle of safety for children at the service.
The adults responsible for children need to have good supervision skills and be supported to practise and develop their supervision skills.
There are too many incidents of children 'escaping' from centres because teachers are not aware of where they are and what they are doing, and of children suffering preventable injuries.
