For many mothers the decision about whether to return to work and put their children into childcare is one of the hardest they have to make.
Despite modern women being told they can have it all experts, the media and other mums often make working mothers feel guilty about leaving their children.
However, as financial pressures force more and more women back to work and others decide they want to continue the careers they worked hard for before childbirth, new British research may come as a welcome relief.
