Awhi Whanau Early Childhood Centre is looking for a passionate Qualified Teacher to join our team, or a teacher who is on their way to completing their third year of study..
Are you a caring, passionate, enthusiastic teacher who is not afraid to share their passion and ideas?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small whanau orientated company that reflects its local community and our commitment to Treaty o Waitangi an Te Whariki.

We are a Bilingual, Christian based Centre inspired by Reggio Emilia.

Are you?
~A supportive team member.
~Can speak Te reo Maori or at least willing to give it ago.
~Good communicator, both verbally and written.
~Strong understanding of the Te Whariki curriculum.
~Most important, we are looking for someone who enjoys learning as much as they do teaching. It's important our new team member has a love and respect for sustainable practices, strong ECE Knowledge and passion for extending the learning of our tamariki. Respectful relationships are a the core of what we do, so we need a teacher who can develop strong connections between tamariki, whanau and our existing kaiako.
