We are seeking those interested in early childhood education to join our Kids Create home-based education and care service team in an Educator role. To spend your days engaged in learning and having fun working alongside infants, toddlers and young children.

Being a home-based educator is a work/career option that enables you to stay at home with your children or others’ children in your own home environment, while you are also engaged in paid work. You may work with as few as one child or care for up to four children at one time.

Licensed by the Ministry of Education, it is our aim to work in partnership with our registered Educators to provide a culturally responsive, high-quality curriculum to children.

You will operate as an education and care business contractor under our Kids Create banner. We supply all new Educators with a starter pack containing basic resources to get your home-based service underway, as well as having access to our marketing resources, physical resources, and advice.

We provide initial and ongoing training and support in your home, including supporting you to study for your Level 4 Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care, professional development, wrap-around service and guidance from a qualified visiting teacher and provide high-quality learning opportunities through nationally recognised providers. No prior experience working in childcare or qualifications is required, however a passion for the education and care of our tamariki is a must!

What we offer:
    - For new Educators wishing to join our team now, we will contribute $200 in cash and $500 in resources towards your home-based business starter pack (Terms and Conditions: This offer is for a limited time only).
    - You'll receive business development support and be assisted towards gaining a tertiary qualification (Level 4 Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care) if you do not already have this.
    - You can work from home while looking after your own child, or care for up to four children at one time, with flexible hours and days to suit your own lifestyle. We take a personalised approach to Educator professional development, including support in mother tongue if required.
