SET Early Childhood Research Folio Paper

What is it like to be a male in one of the few occupations which has not experienced a significant change in gender balance in recent years? Here is a case for encouraging more men to enter early childhood teaching.

The aim of this study was to gain some preliminary insights into what male teachers are like and what it is like to be a male teacher. Twenty men working with children in kindergartens and childcare centres participated in the study.
