There's usually no need for any early childhood service to close its doors because of increased competition if it is a good quality service, but you do need to do some home-work and get on top of the situation through marketing that works.
The standard marketing and advertising advice is:
1. Develop a plan.
2. Consider costs and resources
3. Make use of families and their contacts e.g. a parent who is a real estate agent may offer to help with advertising.
4. Ask local businesses for help (e.g. to display your flyers).
