Below is the proceedings of the Early Childhood Management National Forum, held in Wellington, on 27th May 2016.
Traditionally this forum is held after the Minister of Finance releases the Government Budget for the coming year.
Early childhood service leaders, owners, and managers from throughout the country met for discussions about the economy and discussed what was in the Budget and implications for ECE.
Sessions were also included during the forum on other professional issues and topics giving delegates an opportunity to ask questions and discuss strategies and solutions.
Presenters who used power-point as part of their presentation have kindly agreed to make their power-point presentations available for ECE Service Members who were not able to attend. As always though for this Event, it pays to be present as there is a lot of discussion and meanings conveyed that are not able to be adequately picked up on by reading notes and powerpoints alone.
