Ongoing reflection and review of practice has always been a priority for ECE teachers to ensure that they are the best teachers they can be and are providing best outcomes for children.
From their initial teacher registration, teachers are taught to reflect on their practice, developing a portfolio of evidence towards achieving full registration and this is something that continues as a part of their practice throughout their careers.
In addition to teacher registration and certification processes, ECE services are required to undertake evaluation within their service for continous quality improvement.
