While the number of children in all sectors of Early Childhood Education (ECE) has been rising, one in particular has seen a great increase and that is home-based education.
For those involved in the home-based sector the rise comes as no surprise.
Research which shows that young children’s brain development benefits from consistent attachment and security is encouraging parents to look at home-based care education where teacher/child ratios are lower than in an ECE centre.
