Budget-day early childhood management national forum

Backbencher flyer advert

Thursday 25th May, Wellington

You may have seen "The Backbencher" programme on TV.

This is your opportunity to experience an ECE Management Forum on Budget Day at the famous Backbencher - across the road from Parliament.

We will be following a similar style with speakers, a panel, drinks and food that you can order and pay for as you go from the bar.

A great social and networking event!

Plus you get to:

* hear about and discuss the Budget announcements,

* quiz our early childhood education experts, and also

* talk about things like jobs, interest rates, housing and the economy  that are relevant to you and the sustainability of your service with Tony Alexander (BNZ Chief Economist).

Speeches will finish by 8pm at the latest for people who are catching flights out of Wellington. The Forum will close at 9pm - however you are more than welcome to stay longer.

Out of towners are welcome to arrive before the official 5pm start.  You can relax in the cafe or lounge, catch up with work on your computer (there is free WiFi),  or watch the new Finance Minister read the Budget on the big screen TV live at 2pm.

See the fabulous display of politician puppets.  Enjoy the grandness and the jovial atmosphere.

Venue

BackbencherThe Backbencher is located at 34 Molesworth St, Thorndon, Wellington.

A short walk from the train station.  About 15- 20 minutes by airport bus.

Parking should not be a problem in the evening.  Car park buildings near by if you are arriving early.
