Director of Pre-School
St Margaret’s College is a Christchurch based independent day and boarding school, offering a unique education and cutting-edge facilities for girls from Year 0 – 13. Our Pre-school is a gateway to our wider School and is a crucial pathway within our St Margaret’s community with a strong interaction with our junior school. The Pre-school is a purpose-built facility for both boys and girls aged between 2 and 5 years.

Reporting to the Executive Principal, this is an exciting position for someone with vision and proven management skills in the ECE sector in New Zealand. This position is also part of the wider Leadership Team and forms part of the strategic direction of the whole College. The Director will have knowledge and experience of Te Whāriki and will weave this with the St Margaret’s Junior School Year 0-6 Curriculum. This is a ‘hands on’ role requiring a high level of organisational skills, enthusiasm and energy to drive effective outcomes. Experience in managing a previous Pre-school or educational department and a track record of successful results, providing thorough leadership, analytics and management support at a senior level is essential.
